An Outdoor Nature Montessori & Preschool
We are a nature based Montessori and preschool at Glencarrig House, Ballyronan Road, Kilquade, Co. Wicklow situated on our family home and working farm with an abundance of space and outdoor resources available to us everyday!
At our school, we offer a high quality blend of Montessori and nature learning. We are the first of our kind to deliver a blended approach to early years and have been successfully delivering this model to our children for over 10 years. During this time our school has gone from strength to strength and now it is a thriving, busy little gem
in the heart of Kilquade.
Our core ethos is to nurture your child's social, emotional, physical, and academic well-being.
To us, each child is unique with their own learning style and we engage with every child at their own level, helping them to develop at their own individual pace.
We have two classrooms in our school, The Garden Room and Robin's Barn. Both classrooms provide a morning ECCE sessional service for children from 2yrs & 6mths.
We offer a child-directed and teacher guided hands-on learning experience in a home from home environment.
Our curriculum is a blend of Montessori, nature and forest school learning infused with our national framework of Aistear and Siolta.
We offer weekly masterclasses in Irish, French, German, Yoga, Mindfulness, Gardening and many more all of which are taught in tandem with our wonderful outdoor spaces.
